Privacy Policy
This policy describes how Tracefunds (https://tracefunds.app) processes information when you use our live incident reporting service on the website or in the Tracefunds Android app (which loads the same site in a secure WebView).
What we collect
- Wallet addresses and transaction hashes you submit for indexing (processed to generate your report).
- Payment metadata from Stripe (session IDs, payment status) to unlock entitlements — we do not store full card numbers.
- Technical logs (IP, user agent, timestamps) for security and abuse prevention.
- Optional email if you contact support or subscribe to updates.
What we do not collect
- Private keys or seed phrases (never requested)
- Wallet connect sessions
- Recovery of assets on your behalf
How reports are stored
Entitlement records (payment unlock for a specific scan fingerprint) are stored on our server filesystem. Report content is generated on demand from public explorer APIs; we do not maintain a long-term archive of your full case file unless you use optional share-link features. Shared report links, when created, are stored to allow the recipient to view the snapshot you exported.
Third parties
- Stripe — payment processing
- Etherscan-family APIs — public blockchain indexing
- Anthropic — optional AI narration layered on indexed facts
- Google Analytics — site usage (if enabled)
Retention
Payment entitlements are retained as needed to prevent double-spend of the same purchase. Server logs are rotated on a reasonable schedule. You may request deletion of support correspondence at hello@tracefunds.app.
Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold. Contact hello@tracefunds.app. Blockchain addresses you paste are already public on-chain.
