Why Base drains look different
Base uses the same address format as Ethereum but a separate chain ID (8453). Support tickets that only list an Ethereum mainnet hash often miss the actual loss on Base.
Document these fields
- Your Base wallet address (0x…).
- Every outbound USDC or token transfer hash from the drain window.
- UTC time of the first suspicious transfer.
- Whether you still hold other tokens on the same wallet.
